"Cecilia!" She roared. "It 'as been so long, 'ow 'ave you been feeling?" Adrianne ran to her friend and picked her up in a tight embrace. The two hadn't seen each other for far too long in her mind, and she was ecstatic to see her again. She wanted to know everything she had missed in her friends life, and also ask her some questions about strange occurrences that had been going on with the grasslands and if the same was happening there on the shore.

"Ha-strange occurrences? How so?" Cecilia questioned, taking a seat on a large nearby rock. It was relatively flat and could sit both of them. It also had an excellent amount of sun rays to encompass it in warmth, which always pleased the Matriarch of Lions.

Adrianne took a seat next to her friend and laid back. "I mean, almost all our food has been disappearing." She scratched her cheek "I wouldn't think anything of it, since there are seasons where they leave to mate... 'owever this is not one of those seasons." With a sigh she covered her eyes with her arm "I am distressed for the well being of my Pride."

Cecilia looked up at a passing cloud overhead and frowned a little bit. This was the same thing she heard from the Wolf King yesterday, only not in the endangerment of being killed herself. She relayed this to Adrianne. "I'm not quite sure what's going on for you predators."

A frown crept it's way onto Adriannes face. Her brow was furrowed and she looked up at the sky, thinking for only a moment before adding "It upsets me greatly that the King of those 'ounds 'as not come to discuss this problem with me." She let out an exasperated sigh "'e is like a child sometimes, too proud to ask for 'elp. But when 'e does, 'e demands it!" She had only met the Wolf King a few times and those times consisted of arguments and brief exchanges of their feelings for each other. Very hateful feelings indeed. They fought like cat and dog!

Cecilia leaned back as well, giving an exaggerated sigh. The Wolf King really was a troublesome fellow, and everything Adrianne had said was correct. Cecilia brushed off some loose hair falling in between in her eyes, and let the sun beat down on the two of them. It was pretty peaceful until the better part of her hunger got to her and a low rumble came from the princess. Not very lady-like at all.

The Wolf King finally rose from his sleep. The hunting in that clearing was great, and he and his kin had eaten well. However, that didn't change the fact that food was still growing scarce. He walked with purpose in the direction of the Bird Palace. He didn't know when that became the place to go when problems arose, but he wasn't complaining. Maybe it had to do with the fact that it was basically in the center of all the kingdoms? He shook his head to clear his thoughts. There were more important things at hand.
Naddie raced up the Bird Price's tree without warning or greeting. She barged right into his halls in a rage. "What is the meaning of this?!" She demanded, voice as loud as it could get (which wasn't all that loud but it was clear she was outraged). "How many times do I have to tell you to keep your birds away from my part of the river! I've been very patient Prince, but this is too much. One of our cubs has been hurt." She said in a menacing tone. "Whatever they've dropped in the water this time has cause this poor child a lot of pain. There better be a good explanation, because I'm starting to reconsider our peace treaty."
